Le Meridien, Bora Bora – French Polynesia

Dreaming of a tropical vacation on Bora Bora beaches? Imagine glimmering, turquoise, lagoon water…for as far as your peripheral vision can see. Surround it with white sandy beaches, fringed by a ring of vivid green, palm studded motus.

In addition, the vivid shades of emerald, turquoise, azure and royal blue are mesmerizing! The beaches here are even more beautiful than pictures can convey. They are the reason I have become a Bora Bora Island addict.

Ideal weather means Tahiti beaches offer pleasure all year. And some people actually move here. I was buying some pretty shell jewelry at a store in Bora Bora and chatted to the sales assistant. Her accent told me that she was an Australian. She came for a holiday, fell in love with the beaches (and a man)…and never went home. You can see why!

Diving activities

You can freely organize your dives or certification according to the length of your stay and your own wishes. Beginners are welcome…
The instructor will advise you on the spots best adapted to your level of experience so that you may safely enjoy the amazing wealth of Polynesian waters.
To do so, Le Meridien Bora Bora & Diveasy provides a wide range of activities to best fulfil your wishes and is open to your particular requests. Discover the wonderful underwater world Bora Bora has to offer.

Also the joy of being in such an idyllic location is that there really isn’t any pressure on you to go anywhere else. There’s kayaking, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet-skiing and snorkelling in the lagoon – all included in the package – swimming in the pools, and visiting the resort’s turtle sanctuary, which rescues and nurtures turtles that have got into trouble in the wild. There’s nothing like coaxing a sick turtle to eat to make you feel like Dr Dolittle. Even shopping’s catered for. Finally, the on-site gift shop has a good selection of local black pearls, jewelry and vividly coloured pareo, or sarongs.
